Brett brings over a decade of experience in the Oil and Gas industry working on conventional and coil tubing drilling rigs. Through his experience, Brett has worked on state of the art technologies from conventional singles to doubles and coil rigs. While working on the drilling side of the industry Brett spent a year building new coil rigs, before taking two of these rigs for field testing and operation. In 2009, Brett moved away from the Oil and Gas industry joining a strong team of entrepreneurs in the technology space, focusing on building and financing tech startups. Combining the two careers Brett now serves as Director of Capital Markets with Axial Ventures and is a Co-Founder of Cold Bore Technology as well as VP of Podium Ventures. Brett provides Business Development and Finance experience to Cold Bore Technology, a portfolio company to Axial Ventures.

We are partners in this venture with a group of very experienced Oil and Gas experts who have decades of success operating in this area. My roll at Axial involves deal vetting, structuring, internal advising and capital introduction as well as many of the day to day operational aspects within our portfolio.
